Wood is an amazing natural organism and an intriguing building material. It grows in forests, where a
generation is grown every 80 years. It is one of the original building materials with straw, clay and stone
and the only prominent renewable building material used today. Wood is an ancient building material with
a very bright future
There is plenty of good properties that the other building materials don’t have. Wood has good thermal
performance, it absorbs and releases moisture according to the moisture content of the surrounding air and
compared to its weight wood is very strong building material.
