In 2017, an expert discussion was hold to discuss why agricultural buildings are increasingly no longer made of wood. One point was the chemically aggressive wood decomposition by animal excrement. A database with more precise information about the influencing factors of the chemical wood decomposition in the chicken house is missing.
The research project is important to collect this missing data and to show where problems by using wood in agricultural buildings occurs.
The purpose of the present study was to determine the issue of the influence of chicken droppings and high pressure cleaning on the modulus of elasticity.
Keywords: chicken droppings, high pressure cleaning, modulus of elasticity, wood
