This paper emphasizes the importance of wood and paper in the bio-economy and circular economy, highlighting the role of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in promoting sustainable forest management and responsible wood sourcing. Recycling and FSC certificates with FSC Recycled claim are crucial in encouraging sustainable resource use and supporting eco-friendly wood product manufacturing [1,2,3]. Further research is needed to explore the utilization of recycled paper and wood products, and the study emphasizes the importance of increasing FSC recycled certificates in Northern Europe to ensure sustainable practices in the region [4].
