The global packaging sector has grown consistently and sustainable materials, including recycling and bio-degradable products are expected to rise (Aristippos Gennadios, 2002, pp. 1–2; Fu et al., 2022, p. 1; Lai et al., 1997, 1997, p. 771). This work focuses on the potential possibilities of producing such a barrier from protein polymers in the form of coatings or films. Due to the specific requirements for packaging materials, the main subject of research was their barrier and strength properties.
