The European ForestValue project CLICKdesign brings together into a unique single software tool diverse models and performance databases associated with decay and integrity, aesthetic function and termite performance. The basis for predicting service life and decay of wood is a set of dose-response models accounting for exposure and resistance, both expressed as dosage. In this study we therefore aimed at 1.) comparing the material resistance and moisture performance of different reference wood species, 2.) collecting data from durability tests, and 3.) optimizing the materialresistance model (Meyer-Veltrup et al. 2017).
