Laboratory equipment characteristics may greatly vary, but they often need to work as one pipeline. The universal joint that connects them all is highly expensive, error-prone and time-consuming human labour. In order to improve its efficiency different automation techniques need to be applied. A degree in computer engineering is necessary to automatically collect and preprocess equipment output. My paper presents a method for collecting and preprocessing data from various laboratory equipment.
